  • 5 years Chassis & Structural
  • 3 years Mechanical & Electrical
  • 2 years Batteries.

Commercial Use

  • 2 years Chassis & Structural
  • 2 years Mechanical & Electrical
  • 2 years Batteries.

DURING THE PERIOD OF WARRANTY stated above, any authorised ECAR Dealer will, free of charge and at the manufacturer’s determination, repair or replace any part adjudged defective by the Authorised Dealer due to faulty workmanship or material failure. Parts used in warranty repairs will be warranted for the balance of the golf carts warranty period.

The above-stated new cart warranty shall be deemed VOID should the failure of any of the parts of the cart and/or components be caused by:

  • Abnormal strain, neglect, or abuse including lack of proper maintenance, servicing every 6 months by a qualified technician and use contrary to the Owner / Operator Manual instructions provided to the customer upon handover of the cart.

  • Accident or collision damage by the driver or any person/s.

  • Installation of parts or accessories that are not original equipment and not previously authorised by Carts’n’Parts Australia

  • Installation of any parts or accessories not done by an authorised ECAR dealer.

  • Fading, rust or deterioration due to excessive exposure to UV Sunlight (i.e. being stored outside without adequate covering), or over-ordinary wear and tear.

  • Modifications or alteration that affects the cart’s condition, operation, purpose or durability.

  • Damage due to improper transportation of the cart.

  • Damage caused by ‘Naturally Occurring Incidents’, i.e. lightning, hail damage, flood, fire, etc.

Your Responsibility under this warranty shall be to perform the following as a part of the ownership of an electric cart. If the following is not proven to have taken place at the time of claim, then the above warranty shall be deemed VOID:

  • Operate and maintain the golf cart as specified in the appropriate Owner’s / Operator’s manual and all relevant Battery Care documents that have been provided to you upon sale and signed by the customers to acknowledge they have received these documents.

  • Give notice to an authorised ECAR dealer of any and all apparent defects within ten (10) days after discovery.

  • Make the cart available at that time for inspection and repairs by a dealer’s authorised representative.

  • If a representative is not able to view the cart, then please provide a minimum of 5 photos of the part or area of the cart being claimed.

Transferring your warranty from one owner to another is in fact possible when the cart is purchased from Carts’n’Parts Australia.

In order to transfer any remaining warranty from the original purchaser to any subsequent purchaser, it is imperative that the machine be inspected by CARTS’N’PARTS AUSTRALIA or an authorised dealer and the cart be registered under the new owners name for the remaining warranty term in order for the new cart warranty to be successfully transferred. This inspection and registration must take place within ten (10) days after transfer or notice must be given to CARTS’N’PARTS AUSTRALIA with a confirmed date to inspect unless otherwise advised by a CARTS’N’PARTS Representative. An amount will be charged by the qualified technician, which inspects and provides CARTS’N’PARTS AUSTRALIA with a written report about your cart, upon sale to the new owner. This will need to be conducted in order for the successful transfer of the new cart warranty from the current cart owner to the new cart owner to take place.

Not following the above steps when selling your cart that still has a remaining new cart warranty term applicable to the cart will result in a VOID of any remaining term.

The information written on this above page, represents the most current new cart warranty policy and should be read as applicable to any new cart sales that take place from 1 July, 2020.
